Atelier A (1969-1972) was a collective enterprise founded in Paris by François Arnal, with the aim to bring artistic vision to everyday household objects and hereby uplift the lives of the common people. It provided a variety of artists with the opportunity to produce prototypes, participate in industrial design or decoration programs, develop shows and audiovisual environments. Artists like Ruth Francken, Enrico Baj, Roy Adzak and André Cazenave found a productive resort for their bold ideas in Atelier A.
