Torsten Orrling designed this luminous crown jewel in the late 60s for the Swedish designer and producer Hans-Agne Jakobsson.
Influenced by the nature of his native country, with its glittering lakes and vast dark woods, the designer explored the soft features of the light spectrum. Typical for the sophisticated lighting designs of Hans-Agne Jakobsson is the absence of glaring bulbs and the use of shades that provide an optimal light distribution, successfully uniting practicality and a sense of wellbeing. In this tradition Orrling created this sparkling jewel in two versions: a pendant and a wall light.
The golden flakes of this lamp shed a wonderful pattern on the wall and enhance the warm color of the light with their exuberant lustre, ideal for any Great Gatsby interior.
