This pendant from 1963 has a typical Scandinavian look. Despite its rigid shape, it creates a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Ring-shaped openings in the upper cylinder spread a soft light upwards, which makes the lamp ideal to illuminate conference and dining tables.
read more about Preben Fabricius & Jørgen Kastholm
Preben Juul Fabricius (1931-1984) was trained as a cabinetmaker and Jørgen Kastholm (1931-2007) as a smith before they attended the School for Interior Design in Copenhagen. The two designers had a shared sense for aesthetics and together they founded a design studio in 1961. Many of the pieces they produced, during their cooperation from 1961-1968, are considered as classic designs and never fall out of place in contemporary surroundings. Their FK Tulip Chair from 1969 won the first German Gute Form Award.
