The Dutch goldsmith and designer Hermian Sneyders de Vogel, created this wall light Yin Yang (C-1616), also sold under the name ‘Punt Komma’, for Raak in 1971.
After a successful career as a jewellery maker, Sneyders de Vogel made a gradual transition towards industrial design, hereby transferring her passion for adornments into furniture and light sculptures.
In many of her designs, she was inspired by the Yin Yang-sign, the ultimate and universal symbol for balance. After casting the sign into a beautiful brooch, she also managed to turn it into a refined luminous sculpture. This Yin Yang is an equilibrium of light and dark, soothing and energizing at the same time.
Any environment missing the Feng shui-touch, will be harmonised instantly with this stunning light ornament.
